NexPlayer SDK is fully compatible with Amazon Fling SDK. Amazon Fling SDK is a service on the Amazon Fire TV and Amazon Fire TV Stick platforms that allows customers to send media and web content to Amazon Fire TV from their mobile devices. As long as the Amazon Fire TV is on the same Wi-Fi network as the phone or tablet, users can press the Fling button in any app integrating NexPlayer to view its audio and video content on the big screen. This will make possible not only being able to watch your content wireless in a large screen directly from your device but also saving battery and freeing your mobile or tablet for other tasks.
Amazon Fling SDK and NexPlayer SDK are both cross-platforms toolkits which enable mobile developers to build rich multi-screen experiences with advanced features for iOS and Android mobile apps for Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick. Thanks to this new compatibility, all NexPlayer SDK capabilities (close captioning, time-shifting, multiple audio tracks...) will be available in the two-way communication between Amazon Fire TV and user’s devices.
Amazon Fling SDK can be integrated with the NexPlayer SDK directly by the developers, however using the pre-integrated NexPlayer-Amazon Fling solution is strongly recommended to handle Amazon Fling features more easily and efficiently with NexPlayer SDK exclusive features.
